Project coordinator, supporter of the development of the cyber security sector in Poland

Graduate of International Relations at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where he also completed his Bachelor’s degree. He coordinated the Digital Innovation Hub project at the Kościuszko Institute. Initially Vice President of the Board, and since September 2021. President of the Polish Cyber Security Cluster #CyberMadeinPoland. In the cluster he is responsible for business development, project supervision and setting the cluster’s development strategy.

Member of the CyAN international network of experts. He is certified in project management PRINCE2 Foundation and Agile Foundation.

Cyber terrorism expert, intelligence researcher widely involved in international academia

Professor at the Institute of Political Science, University of Silesia, and visiting fellow at the ITSTIME research centre in Milan, Italy, as part of the NAWA Bekker programme (2023-2024). He is an intelligence researcher with more than 10 years of experience in investigating terrorist activities on the Internet.

He has held visiting research positions at Oxford University, Cambridge University (2011 and 2018), the European University Institute and the University of Milan (non-resident). He has held research visits to the University of Toronto, King’s College London, Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis and Università Degli Studi di Napoli, among others. He has led numerous research grants, including those funded by the Global Network on Extremism & Technology (King’s College London), the International Council For Canadian Studies and the National Science Centre in Poland.

He has published 5 monographs and over 65 scientific articles worldwide. His articles on such topics as digital jihad have appeared in leading journals. He is the author of Islamic State’s Online Propaganda: A Comparative Analysis (London-New York, Routledge, 2021). His work has been published in English, French, Hebrew and Polish.
